Maxwel.P.J

IMG_6215A multi-faceted musician who already plays the Keyboard (he has a Grade 8 of Trinity Guildhall London), Violin (Grade 5 ABRSM) and Viola, Maxwell is in the process of adding Guitar and Western Vocal to his skills.  He has also passed the Grade 6 ABRSM Theory exam.  His exposure to live orchestral music in practice and performance from an early age inspired Maxwell to opt for a career in music.  He feels that music is divine; it brings him closer to the Almighty in worship, and helps him to lead an ordered personal life.  Teaching music has aided Maxwell in improving his own musical technique.

He looks forward to practicing and ongoing self-improvement.

Sheba Kurian

ShebaSheba Kurian has been teaching in The Bangalore School of Music since 2006. She teaches the Piano and the keyboard. Ever since she joined the BSM, she has had the opportunity to attend concerts performed by Artistes from abroad increasing her knowledge various cultures & music styles.

She feels that BSM’s policy of making students attend concerts regularly, is in a way a step by step’ learning process. The concerts are followed up by master classes conducted by the Artistes themselves which builds up further in education. Furthermore, she is of the opinion that the student’s monthly concerts held at the last Sundays of every month helps in building up the confidence & slowly removing the fear factor in the students.
