Rebecca T Colaco
Rebecca T Colaco, Head of the Piano Department, Leader of the Early Children’s Music Programmes, Concert Accompanist, and Piano educator at the BSM, is fondly known as ‘Becky’ to all.
Becky’s musical qualifications include a Masters in Church Music from Singapore Bible College, Singapore, ATCL in Piano Performance, Trinity College (London UK) AMusTCL in Music Theory, Trinity College apart from being a Certified Music Therapist from the Royal College of Music, Stockholm, and a Certified Kindermusik Educator through Kindermusik International, USA.
Becky counts as her musical goals the use of music as a therapeutic tool to enhance communication, improve life skills and provide enjoyment, to school children and youngsters, as also to impart music education to people of all ages with a focus on the piano, enabling them to gain mastery of the instrument and a comprehensive understanding of music theory and history.
