Classical Guitar
The Guitar’s entry into Classical western music is fairly recent. It became a popular instrument for private recitals with music being written exclusively for it by a small but renowned group of composers from the 19th century on .
The growing popularity of the guitar as the preferred instrument of many youth in India today has also given rise to a growing interest in the Classical genre of playing. Many of our students have selected the classical guitar as their instrument of choice and dedicated study.

Kenny joined The BSM over 26 years ago as a student, going on to become a Faculty Member of the Guitar Department and then, to his present position as Head of Department. Over the years, he has mentored aspiring Guitarists, many of whom now play the guitar professionally
